TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

THE FINE PRINT - Menus are Subject to change at any time in line with produce availability. Strictly no refunds during the Christmas period between November/December. If final payment is not received 8 working days prior to the function date, Jubilee Hotel reserves the right to cancel the function. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to assign a different function area. We will provide sufficient notice where possible. Terrace Suite hire free; only with minimum spend of $2000 on food or beverage (excludes November/December).

 

 

CONFIRMATION - A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the signed terms and conditions agreement along with 25% of the total spend or otherwise agreed deposit. Final numbers and food selection are due 5 working days prior to the booking date. Decreased event numbers within 5 working days will not be accepted for drink or food packages. Increased numbers within 5 working days must be discussed with your function coordinator.

 

 

HOW TO PAY - Payments can be made by credit card in the Venue or direct deposit (must quote booking reference number e.g. AC*** and email through a remittance statement or the payment will not be accepted).

 

BELONGINGS AND GIFTS - All belongings and gifts are to be collected upon conclusion of the function. Should storage be required this must be arranged with your Function Coordinator five days prior to the function date. Jubillee Hotel does not accept responsibility for the injury, damage or loss of any client’s property left in the premises prior to, during or after an event. Any damages caused to Jubilee Hotel property during an event are the financial responsibility of the client.

 

 

SECURITY - To fulfil our obligations under the Liquor Act in respect to ratio of security providers to guests, all functions may be subject to the requirement of a hotel appointed security guard. If this is deemed necessary, it will be at the expense of the client. This is charged at $48.00 per hour for the duration of the function (minimum 4 hours applies). This will be charged in addition to the agreed minimum spend.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS - Written notification must be provided to the Function Coordinator in all instances. If notice is not given within 4 weeks of the booking date, the full deposit will be retained. If notice is given 4 weeks of booking date, 100% of the agreed catering and room hire spend will be invoiced for payment within 7 days. Any cancellation charges for third party items hired on behalf of the client are payable by the client. Change of date or postponement of event booking will be treated as cancellation at the discretion of your Function Coordinator. Strictly no refunds on any deposits on functions in the Christmas period - November/December.

 

MINORS - Any guests under 18 years of age must be supervised by a parent/legal guardian and must remain within the designated function area. They may be asked to leave the premises immediately if found unaccompanied outside the designated area. Minors must wear a wristband and vacate the premises no later than 11:00PM. All minors attending a function must be outlined on the “Minors Agreement” form provided. Jubilee Hotel has zero tolerance on underage drinking. Should a minor be found consuming alcohol the function may be shut down. At all times no more than 4 minors will be permitted entry.

 

To allow minors to attend a function at the Jubilee Hotel you are required to advise the Venue 48 hours prior to the event. Jubilee Hotel has the right of refusal in any situation.
